The Argos
homepage
The
homepage is the starting point
of online shopping with Argos.
From this page, you can browse
through our entire range by
selecting the product category
that you are interested in. The
homepage also contains links to
our special offers and price
cuts, as well as our ‘feature
zones’ and customer
services/information pages. At
any point during your visit,
you can return to the homepage
by clicking on the ‘home’ link
at the top of the page, or on
the Argos logo in the top left
corner of your
screen.

How do I
search for
products?
There are
several ways of finding
products on Argos. You can
browse our online catalogue,
search for specific products
and catalogue numbers, or have
an overview of our entire range
with the help of our A-Z
index.
Browse
You can browse through our
entire online catalogue by
selecting one of our main
product categories, either from
the homepage or from the
navigation bar at the top of
your screen. Each time you
select a category from these
main menus, the menu on the
left-hand side of your screen
will show a list of relevant
sub-categories and criteria
that you can select for further
browsing.
For example, the homepage and
top navigation bar will display
a list of all main product
categories, such as Furniture,
Toys & Baby, Jewellery
& Watches, etc. When
selecting Furniture, for
example, you will be directed
to the Furniture main page
where a list of relevant
sub-categories such as Beds,
Sofas & Chairs, etc. will
be displayed on the left-hand
side of your screen. You can
then select any of these
sub-categories and browse until
you find the product(s) you are
looking for. You can also use
the left-hand side menu to view
products by different criteria,
such as by brand, by size,
etc.
Search
You can also search for
products by name, brand or
catalogue number. To do so,
simply enter the type of
product (e.g. iron, kettle,
bed) or the brand name (e.g.
Sony, Hotpoint, Lego) into the
search by word or catalogue
number box and we will produce
all of the products which match
your chosen word. Entering a
valid catalogue number into
this same field will produce
details of that product.
A-Z index
You can also use our A-Z index
to find the products you are
looking for. Simply click on
A-Z index on the left-hand side
of your screen and we will give
you a list of all the types of
products we offer. From this
list, you can access our whole
range as well as the A-Z by
brand, which will give you a
selection of all the product
brands available on our
site.

How do I check
latest prices and stock
availability?
We're
always lowering our catalogue
prices and running special
offers. With so many great
deals, you might find that many
items are cheaper than you
thought! Luckily, argos.co.uk
always has the latest prices.
Wherever you see a price
advertised on this website, you
can be sure it is the latest
price available. Alternatively,
there is now a fast and easy
way to check product prices
using our Price and stock
checker located at the top of
your screen. Simply enter the
catalogue number you are
looking for and we'll provide
you with the latest price
available.
You can also check stock for
home delivery or store pick up
- just enter the catalogue
number and your postcode in our
Price and stock checker and
we'll confirm stock
availability for home delivery
and store pick up at your local
store. If you wanted to order
an item for home delivery but
found it was out of stock, you
can provide us with your email
address and we will inform you
when the product is back in
stock.

Quick order by
catalogue
number
If you
already know the catalogue
number of the product(s) you’re
interested in, then our Quick
order facility is ideal for
you. Simply enter all of the
catalogue numbers and then
click ‘view in trolley’. All of
the products will then be added
to your trolley and you can
then decide if you would like
to buy online or reserve for
store
pick-up.
How do I order
for home delivery and pay
online?
Once you
have found the products you
were looking for, you can buy
or reserve them online. To do
so, just click on the ‘add to
trolley button’ for each
product selected, or use our
Quick order facility if you
already know the catalogue
number of the product(s) you’d
like. You will then be directed
to your ‘trolley’. Remember,
you can remove products from
your trolley or stop the
ordering process at any
time.

- All prices are
shown in £ Sterling and are
inclusive of VAT, unless
stated otherwise. Where
savings are shown, higher
prices were charged either
online or in our
stores.
- Click on the
product name to view
details of footnotes marked
by a † or *, the details
will be shown in the
additional information
panel. For further details
on pricing footnotes,

are unable to offer
personalised jewellery or
rings via Internet services
or Argos Direct. Please
visit your local store to
place your order.
Once
you have added all of your
items to your trolley, tick the
‘order for home delivery’ box
next to each product(s) and
click ‘continue’ to proceed to
checkout.
Before you enter your details,
we will ask you to confirm your
house number/name and postcode
so that we can check that your
chosen products are available.
Once stock has been checked and
is available, we’ll then ask
you to complete your delivery
and contact addresses. All
fields marked with an asterisk
must be completed. You will be
presented with the delivery
options which are available for
your order. These options will
vary depending on the type of
products you have ordered.
Having completed the delivery
details, you will be asked to
complete your payment details.
Again, all fields marked with
an asterisk must be completed.
You can pay by most major
credit and debit cards or with
your Argos Card. Your details
will be encrypted to keep them
secure.
After completing your payment
details, select ‘continue’ to
place your order. You will
receive an on-screen
acknowledgement with your order
number and details, which you
should make a note of for
future reference. We will also
send you an email confirming
that we have received your
order.
Please note that you can place
an order from overseas,
provided delivery is to a
mainland UK or Northern Ireland
address. If you are ordering
from overseas, please enter the
UK delivery postcode instead of
your own postal/zip code in
'your address'.

How do I
reserve products for store
pick up?
If you
would rather not pay by
credit/debit card online, or if
it’s easier for you to collect
your products rather than wait
for delivery
Reserving products online is
easy. You don't need to give us
any personal details and if the
items are in stock, they will
be held for you at the store of
your choice until the end of
the next working day. If
they're not in stock, they can
be ordered in for you and will
usually available for
collection within 3 working
days.
Once you have added all of your
items to the trolley, select
the 'reserve for store pick-up'
option for each of the products
you wish to reserve and click
'continue' to begin the
reservation process.
We will then ask you to enter
either your postcode or town
name so that we can show you
which stores are nearest you.
Once you have selected the
store from where you would like
to pick up your products, we
will check to see if stock is
available.
Once we have confirmed that
stock is available at your
chosen store, you can then
complete your reservation by
selecting the 'place
reservation' option in you
trolley. We will provide you
with on-screen confirmation of
your reservation, which will
include the dates when you can
collect your item(s), along
with a reservation number. You
should make a note of this
number, as you will need to
quote it when you arrive in the
store to pay for and collect
your items.
Once in store, if you're paying
using your Argos Card or a
credit/debit card, you can save
time and avoid the queues by
using our Quick Pay Kiosks
(available at selected stores)
to pay for your items. Just
follow the simple on screen
instructions.
Please note that the price you
pay is the price in store on
the day you collect your
items.

How do I
register?
Registering with us
will make your online visits to
Argos much quicker and easier.
To begin the registration
process, click on the log in
& registration button at
the top of your screen. You
will need to provide us with a
user name (we suggest you use
your email address) and a
password (min 6 characters
including 2 numbers). Also,
just in case you forget your
password, we will ask you to
provide us with a security
question which only you will
know the answer to. We’ll then
ask you to complete some
personal details and you may
want to enter some preferred
delivery addresses before
completing your
registration.
How do I log in
to my account on
Argos.co.uk?
Once you
have registered with us, you
are able to log into
Argos.co.uk at any time. Just
click on the log in &
registration link at the top of
your screen and enter your user
name and password (exactly as
you gave when you first
registered). If you have
forgotten your password, click
the ‘get help’ button next to
the words ‘forgot your
password’.
Logging in makes placing an
order even faster and easier
than usual, as all of your
address and delivery details
will already be filled in.
Whilst logged-in, you can
change any of these details, as
well as any other addresses or
details you may have entered
previously.

How can I find
special offers and latest
price cuts?
To take
advantage of our special offers
and latest price cuts, simply
click on the Special offers and
price cuts button on the
homepage. If you are browsing
through the catalogue, clicking
on the ‘on special offer’ link
in the bottom left-hand corner
of the screen will show all
products in that category which
are on special offer.
You can also use our Price and
stock checker to check our
latest price and stock for a
specific catalogue
number.
Don’t forget to check the full
details of the offer and the
product prior to placing your
order, to make sure you are
aware of any terms and
conditions that may
apply.
