Please make sure that you check your items carefully before they are used or installed. Argos also recommend that you keep your receipt or order number, which can be found on your order confirmation or on the delivery packaging, as you might need it as proof of purchase in the event of any after-sales queries.

What if I change my mind?
Within 16 days
That's fine. Most of our products are covered by our no-quibble 16-day money-back guarantee*. Just return them to any store, unused in their original packaging, with the receipt**, and we'll give you a refund or exchange. If you had the item delivered, just give us a call and we'll come round to collect it, free of charge. This does not affect your statutory rights.
What if there's a problem with the product?

Please return the faulty product(s) with the receipt** and we'll usually offer you a replacement or repair.

After 30 days but within 1 year of purchase
Please return the faulty item(s) with the receipt** and we'll usually be able to repair it for you. If we can't offer a repair, we'll usually give you a replacement. This does not affect your statutory rights.

*Some products are excluded from our 16-day money back guarantee. These are clearly marked by a next to the product name. Product installation services already commenced are excluded from the 16-day money back guarantee. Your statutory rights are not affected.

** If you had your item delivered, your order number which can be found on your order acknowledgement or delivery packaging counts as your receipt.

Distance Selling Regulations
Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website for a full refund. This does not apply to items personalised or made to your specification; audio/video recordings or software that you have unsealed; items such as earrings and cosmetics that, by reason of their nature, cannot be returned; perishable goods (e.g. food and flowers), and periodicals/magazines.

To cancel, you can email us or write to us within seven days of delivery of your item(s), quoting your order number. You must take reasonable care of the item(s) and must not use them. Item(s) may be returned to an Argos store, or we can arrange collection free of charge.

You may cancel an order for services in the same way, within seven days of the date of purchase, unless the services begin sooner. You may not cancel accommodation, transport or leisure services which occur on a specific date. The Distance Selling Regulations do not apply to Financial and Insurance Services.
